Valentine's Shopping Deadlines

It probably feels like you've got ages yet, but Valentine's Day is coming sooner than you think. If you'd like to buy a little something from Love Baby Grand for someone special, it's a good idea to take note of a few deadlines when placing an order from our store.

If you would like any made-to-order items, to be on the safe side, you should make sure you place your order by Saturday, January 23rd to ensure they are made and shipped in time to arrive by Valentine's Day.

For all ready-to-ship items, your order should arrive in time for Valentine's if it's placed by February 8th for UK delivery, and February 5th for delivery outside of the UK.

The Berber and Michiel Colouring Dress

This is one I should file under 'I wish I'd thought of that'. What could be more fun than a dress that you can colour in yourself? It's a great combination of grown up glamour and child-like fun.

The unique dress, by designer Berber Soepboer, and graphic designer Michiel Schuurman, comes with a selection of felt tip pens, so that it's owner can fill in their own design to suit their own accessories, complexion or to match the occasion. I must be quite boring, because I quite like it in its untouched form.

The dresses have been made in a limited run of 50, in four different sizes (small to extra large). For around 250 Euros, the dress comes with its own customizable gift box plus a set of colouring pens. More details about it are available here.

Sonia Rykiel for H&M Debuts

Sonia Rykiel's first collection for H&M debuted last week in Paris. Keeping things low key, the collection premiered featuring a huuuuge big top, circus, parade, models on swings, celebrity guests and international press. The new Love Baby Grand collection is on its way in early 2010. The launch will not quite be on this scale:

The Vogue Paris 2010 Calender

So the new Vogue Paris 2010 calender is out. I guess this year they decided to do an about turn from the pinup thee of last year. The look is far too much like a lad's mag for my taste, but then again, who am I to argue with Mario Sorrenti, Carine Roitfeld and a gaggle of supermodels?
